From 1 January 2027: you choose

Until then every shop is on Dhundhlo Pro, free. On 1 January you choose one of the plans below. If you choose nothing, your shop moves to Basic. We never charge you automatically.

These are the plans in the Shop Terms, version 5 (October 2026). They replace the Commission / Listing / Extras plans of version 4.

Priced on their own

Two things are often confused. They do different jobs, are bought separately, and neither includes the other.

Verified, Featured, ad placements and any new paid service may carry their own charges. A new paid service is always optional, and never charged to you without your agreement.

Is registration really free?

Yes. If you register your own shop on dhundhlo.com, there is no registration fee — not now, and not later. What it costs you is effort: your shop appears publicly once you have added five products, or one product with a complete profile.

Then what is the Rs 1,000 for?

For our work, not for access. If you would rather we did it — you send your details and photos on WhatsApp and we build the whole listing for you — that is Rs 1,000, once. You can pay Rs 500 to start and Rs 500 when your shop is live and you have seen it. If a Dhundhlo agent registers you in person, he takes the Rs 1,000 once, against a receipt from the Dhundhlo app. Either way you get exactly the same listing as a shop that registered itself.

Why hasn't my shop appeared yet?

Two reasons it might not have. It needs five products, or one product with a complete profile. And everything published is screened automatically — if a word in your shop's name, description or a product is flagged, that product or your whole shop is held until a person has looked at it. Screening makes mistakes; if you think it has held something wrongly, message us.

What is the difference between Verified and Featured?

They answer different questions. Featured is about where your shop is shown — a paid place in Dhundhlo's featured rail. Verified is about who you are — we check the owner's CNIC, a payment from a bank account in the same name, and your phone, and the badge says your identity is confirmed. It does not mean anyone from Dhundhlo has visited your shop. They are priced separately and neither includes the other.

Can prices change?

Yes — with costs, inflation and taxes, and they may differ by category, city or kind of business. But we tell you at least thirty days before, by email and on your dashboard, a change never applies backwards, and anything you have prepaid keeps its price until that period ends. Commission can never go above 10%. Some things, like Verified, Featured and ad placements, are priced on their own and may carry their own charges.

Will Dhundhlo bring me customers?

We will not promise that, and you should be careful of anyone who does. We put your shop online and make it findable. Whether people buy is down to your shop and your goods. The fee buys the work listed above — not customers, not sales, and not a position in search results.

What happens on 1 January 2027 if I do nothing?

Your shop moves to Basic, which is free. It stays listed and searchable, and your website keeps working. You lose only the Pro features. Nothing is ever charged to you unless you choose a paid plan.

When is the 5% commission charged?

From 1 January 2027, and only on orders paid or delivered through Dhundhlo: on the Commission plan, and on Basic if you use Dhundhlo's payment or delivery. Pro never pays commission. Dhundhlo payment and delivery open city by city and run nowhere yet. A customer who walks in, calls you or orders on WhatsApp is never charged commission.

What if I sell services, not products?

Basic has no monthly price, and a services business rarely has orders paid or delivered through Dhundhlo, so for most it costs nothing. If you want Pro's features, Pro is a flat Rs 1,000 a month with no commission. You choose, and you can change your mind.

Is town search available in my city?

Only where enough shops have joined. Your shop page, your website and your QR poster work from day one everywhere. Town search opens in a city once around ten shops there are live — we do not promise a date.
