Delete your account

Send us a deletion request through either channel:

• Email — write to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address your account is registered with.
• WhatsApp — message us at +92 303 6960827 saying you want your account deleted, and tell us the email address the account is registered with.

We may ask you to confirm the request (for example by replying from the registered email) so that nobody else can delete your account. Once verified, we complete the deletion within 30 days and send you a confirmation.

When your account is deleted, we delete or irreversibly anonymise:

• Your profile — name, email address, profile photo, city selection, and sign-in identifiers;
• Your activity — saved shops, browse history, searches linked to your account, and notification preferences;
• Your content — reviews and ratings you posted are removed or anonymised so they no longer identify you;
• Shopkeepers — if you own a shop on Dhundhlo, your shop page, products, offers, photos and the free shop website are taken down and deleted as part of the same request.

• Records required by law or needed to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or enforce our Terms — kept only as long as necessary for that purpose;
• Aggregated, anonymised statistics that do not identify you (for example overall search counts) — these are not personal data and may be retained;
• Residual copies in encrypted backups — these are overwritten in our routine backup rotation shortly after deletion.

You can also make smaller requests without closing your account:

• Clear your browse history yourself at any time from your activity page;
• Remove a single review, photo or shop listing — delete it from your dashboard, or ask us at [email protected];
• Close your shop but keep your shopper account — just say so in your request.
