Every business deserves to be found

Somewhere in your town right now, a woman is stitching a bridal suit in her front room. Two streets away, a mechanic behind the petrol pump can fix the motorcycle three other workshops gave up on. And there's a dukaan in the main bazaar with the exact charger you've been looking for all week.

None of them is online. Not because they don't want customers — because "online" was never built for them. It meant a developer, a hosting bill, a laptop, English, and a marketplace taking its cut before you'd sold a thing.

We think that's backwards. A business shouldn't need a computer to be found. It needs a phone, about ten minutes, and a place built for the way Pakistan actually buys and sells.

Every business deserves to be found

Every business, not just every shop

When we started in Pirmahal in June, we said every dukan. We meant it — but it was too small. The people who most need to be found are often the ones without a shutter on the street:

  • The home-based business — the baker, the tailor, the woman selling hand-embroidered dupattas. You can register without a shop address; your page simply has no map pin.
  • The service business — the electrician, the AC mechanic, the tutor, the photographer. People search for skills as much as for products.
  • The small shop off the main road — the one you only find if someone's uncle tells you about it.

All of them belong on Dhundhlo, on the same terms as the biggest shop in the bazaar.

Free means free

Since late September, registering a business on Dhundhlo costs nothing. Open dhundhlo.com/onboard, add your details from your phone, and once you have five products — or one product and a complete profile — your page goes live.

A shop page, a free website at yourshop.dhundhlo.com, and a QR poster
What every business gets when it registers

The only price is a little effort. If you'd rather not type it all yourself, we'll do it for you for Rs 1,000, once — but you never have to. Everything else is on our pricing page, in plain words.

What we will never do

Being trusted matters more to us than being big, so a few things are settled:

  • Paid placements are always labelled. If a shop paid to be shown somewhere, you'll see Featured or Promoted next to it.
  • We won't promise you customers. Be careful of anyone who does. We make you findable; whether people buy is down to your shop and your goods.
  • We won't list things that can hurt people. Every listing is screened. "Cured in one week" medicine, miracle weight-loss and sexual-enhancement products don't go up — no matter who is selling them, or what certificate comes with them.

Where we are

Honestly? Early. More than fifty shops and over a thousand products in Pirmahal, built one conversation at a time. Our next towns are Toba Tek Singh, Kamalia and Gojra — and anyone, anywhere in Pakistan, can register today. Your page, your website and your QR poster work from day one; town search opens in a city once around ten shops there are live.

How you can help

The fastest way a business gets found is still word of mouth. We just give it a link.

  • Know a good shop? Open its page and tap Share. That one link does more than any ad.
  • Run a business? Register it — or forward this post to someone who should.
  • See something wrong? Every shop page has a Report link, and we read every one.

Every business deserves to be found. We're going to keep going until they are.

Har dukan, Har product... Ab ek hi jagah!
